Check Valves

Check valves perform by allowing gases and liquids to flow in unidirectionlly. They are designed to open when the fluid / gas flow is in the desired direction, and automatically close when there is flow in the opposite direction. These one-way valves serve a variety of purposes:

Swing Valves offer a larger pressure drop than most other types. Ball Valves are largely used to move fluids. Split Discs are useful for applications requiring low pressure drops / operating pressures.
