FORMULA-8 aqueous-based thread sealant is a shear-sensitive thixotropic paste that wets into and seals threaded joints when torqued - for gas, liquid, & vacuum service.
Chemically compatible with diesel fuel, liquid propane, natural gas, oxygen, and inert gases. Won’t deteriorate from -400°F to +500°F. Stable in pressures up to 10,000 psi and in vacuums 10-3 torr. NSN 8030-01-527-7193, ASTM G72-86, G86 and BAM (German Federal Institute for Material Testing) certified. Approved for use in food processing facilities.
LOX-8 Paste & Grease is the PCTFE/PTFE sealant and lubricant of choice in applications where critical safety and resistance to aggressive chemicals is important. This stainless steel anti-galling agent is recommended by the Chlorine Institute and useful where oxygen and/or harsh chemicals are present.
Cryogenic to -400° F, stable up to 550° F, and nonflammable. ASTM G72-86, G86 and BAM (German Federal Institute for Material Testing) certified. Nontoxic; approved for use in food processing facilities. Formulated for both wet and dry conditions. Ideal for repetitive assembly and disassembly (suitable for reaaplication).
Full Density PTFE Tape is chemically inert, multi-purpose, and oxygen-tested (ASTM G72). May be used alone or with an approved pipe sealant. Lubricates threads while preventing seizing and galling in stainless steel fittings.
Waterproof, silicone-free, & suitable for extreme temperatures: -240°C to +287°C (-400°F to +550°F). MIL-T-27730A & A-A-58092 certs. Approved for high pressure applications.
