Cylinder Dip Tubes
Evergreen carries a complete line of syphon or dip tubes, in either type “K” copper or polyethylene material and fitted with a ¼” MNPT brass fitting. Copper tubes are cut at a 45° angle to allow effective syphon flow, and come in a standard length is 53" OAL.
Refillable cylinders are designed for such use, with the use of a syphon or “dip” tube inside. The syphon tube serves as a drinking straw to pull the liquid from the bottom of the cylinder when needed. The valve pulls the gas vapors from the top of the cylinder when the gas form is required. Because commonly used gases are highly pressurized, (between 1,500 psi and 2,500 psi), cylinders must be maintained in good condition and protected from accidental damage at all times.
