Ammonia Valves

Ammonia Valves are a specialty gas valve designed for reliability and user protection. The valves are manufactured out of brass and come with a PTFE packing with the common CGA being a 240 outlet. Industries that utilize this valve are industrial chemical companies and agricultural conglomerates, such as Land-O-Lakes or Cargill LLC. The agricultural industry heavily relies on our valves for controlling distribution of the pressurized liquids to fill their portable tanks (aka nurse wagons) to transport anhydrous ammonia (NH3) to their fields for fertilization and to pressurize and level their farming equipment. In addition to the valve, we recommend purchasing the accompanying ammonia adapter and a yoke, promoting user safety and system integrity.

  •  The Sherwood recommended Yoke and adapter gasket to establish a gas tight seal is the P10CLAT

At Evergreen, user safety is a key component to our sales. Keep in mind that the ammonia is stored under massive PSI pressure. To ensure that the user is safe, the valves area robust 3000 PSIG and have a burst pressure at 15,000 PSI. Though impressive, Evergreen stresses you call our sales team prior to ordering to ensure you are getting the proper equipment.
