Gas Cylinder Paint
Evergreen carries a complete line of water-reducible alkyd coating for gas cylinders in a wide range of colors. The Aqua-Shield WSR Series was designed as the first true water-reducible alkyd coating for use on the exterior of high-pressure industrial gas cylinders. These cylinder coatings boast a viscosity that is high enough to be either brushed OR rolled on with pipe rollers, yet low enough to be sprayed straight from the bucket with minimal thinning. And of course, being water-based, these gas cylinder coatings can be thinned and cleaned up with water. WSR = coating for brush or roll-on applications; WS = our aerosol spray cans; WAS = spray paint stored in containers to be used in spray machines. We also carry Temp-Alert Cylinder Coating, which is a coating that indicates exposure to high temperatures! It is the industry standard for aluminum cylinders.
