Multiport™ Pressure Relief Valve Manifold Assemblies for Large Storage Containers: A8560, A8570, and AA8570 Series

Designed as primary relief devices on large stationary pressurized storage containers with flanged openings. These manifolds incorporate an additional relief valve, not included in the flow rating, to allow for servicing / replacement without container evacuation. The handwheels on the manifolds selectively close off the entrance ports to the relief valves being removed, while the remaining relief valves protect the containers and their contents. All manifold flow ratings are based on flow through the valves after one has been removed for service or replacement.

• Allow for periodic relief valve removal and replacement without shutting down / evacuating the container.

• “Pop-action” design of relief valves ensures maximum protection w/ only minimal product loss, even at moderately excessive pressures.

• Rubber plugs with chains are provided to protect manifold outlet threads where relief valves are removed.

• May be mounted directly to welding neck flanges or manhole cover plates. No inlet piping required.

• Relief valves designed to automatically reseat firmly after discharge.

• Resilient relief valve seat discs provide “bubble-tight” seal.

• Relief valves are ASME rated for use with LP-Gas and anhydrous ammonia.
