LOX-8 Paste is a pipe joint thread sealant. LOX-8 Paste is highly recommended where oxygen, harsh chemicals such as chlorine or powerful oxidizers are present. LOX-8 Paste is thicker and therefore normally used to seal the threads in pipe joints. Use LOX-8 where wet/humid conditions exist, in pressures up to 10,000 psi.
